How runs are judged
WordVolt scoring combines letter value, longer word bonuses, board charge, and time pressure. Daily and always-available runs can still create local bests, while linked accounts can publish global leaderboard results.

- Fastest Round: the quickest clean solve.
What sync needs
You can play locally without signing in. Email, Google, or Apple sign-in is only needed when you want cloud-backed global dailies, synced leaderboards, and the same profile across devices.
Shared challenge links can still open the same puzzle without sign in. Linking an account is what allows the resulting run to sync to your cloud profile.
